Who is the best to replace Peterson as the designated Punt and Kick returner next year? Brooks just hasn't impressed me at all. Randle has the hands, but is he shifty enough? What about that all-world recruit we got out of Texas 2 years ago in #10? Who you got?

Claiborne. With his size and speed he will be a great replacement for PP7. Or Shepard. And Randle is the #2 return guy for us. Who knows

Chris Tolliver.

I understand he is one of the fastest guys on the team.

Shep is quick and shifty but I don't think he has the speed to break one all the way

Has to be someone with extreme quickness to get open, then blazing speed to leave the pursuit behind. I don't think RS10 has either. Not too sure about RR2--haven't seen him put many "Barry Sanders" moves on anyone in the relatively few catches he had this season. He seems to be a straight ahead runner after he gets the ball. Usually CBs are the quickest and fastest players with an occassional exception. I've also heard C Tolliver is fast in the open but haven't seen enough of his playing time to assess his agility in a crowd.

I'd nominate:

D. Calhoun,
R. Randall,
R. Shepard,
J. Gore,
Terrance Magee,
O. Beckman Jr.,
Sam Gibson,
Spencer Ware, or
Armand Williams

Maybe it's because he can't catch
