and recent history doesn't ease that terror much either..

I *think* Brennan will be better next year, but it wouldn't surprise me to see another Lee / Jefferson type of scenario....

I would like nothing more than for them to finish 1-2 in the Heisman race the next 2 years. There.

I think Brennan wins the job but we need to keep Narcisse on the roster. From what I’ve heard on radio from his hs coach and other pundits is Brennan is an NFL caliber talent so he most likely is gone in 2 years. Promise Narcisse that he’ll get 2 full seasons as our starter once Brennan is gone if he doesn’t win the job sooner. I’ve seen Narcisse play and he does everything smoothly, he’s got a Jalen Hurts quality about him in that he never gets rattled never seems to be in a hurry and has ice water in his veins. I think both can be starters here so we need to come up with a plan to sell them both on staying.

Word is Narcisse is the best QB on our roster, and it isn’t all that close, he just needed more time to learn the plays and they wanted to make sure he is fully healthy

There's a reason O makes sure to say when talking about Brennan that he might be the guy next year. IMO Narcisse is the only guy we have that can run a modern offense. Brennan moves like a baby deer.

Not the Word I get from my super secret sauces. (Ex-Shaw TAF's)

Word I get is that "King Lowell" is a Brandon Harris clone with a really strong arm, but has had trouble learning the plays and can't consistently hit the side of a barn with a football. Hasn't shown consistent accuracy and touch in the passing game.

Brennan is the real deal, but they want him to put on another 15-20 pounds of muscle in the Spring-Summer before they throw him out there to the SEC wolves in the Fall.

Don't think Narcisse will transfer either. They will have packages for him, but he'll not start here unless he improves dramatically in the passing game from what the coaches are seeing at practice............

From what I've gathered since I've been here, it'll m turn into a black qb vs white qb scenario with people choosing sides.

Shitty, but It seems to be how people roll on here.

I just hate the fact we have two talented guys the same age and only one can play.

I haven't seen enough of either one to say much bout them, but I will say that both nationally were ranked much lower than Harris coming out of HS.

Either way we will be facing Miami next yr. with a new QB starter with very little playing time. Never a good thing. imo I hope we get up enough in our next games that Brennan can get some meaningful playing time.

This is my gut feeling also. I believe Narcisse will be used much like Perrilloux in 2007. Short yardage and goal line packages tailored to his strengths.

I heard from people who have watched him practice that he has a cannon for an arm but can't hit the broadside of a barn. I hope that isn't true, but if it is...there may not be a competition.

Edit: A poster made a good observation that Canada may have a package to play towards Narcisse' strength. If we can just get him to complete enough passes to be a threat to throw, then that would open up some wild tiger type plays. If Brennan leaves in a couple of years, that would give us an experienced quarterback a year or two after he's gone. I would really like that scenario.
