Seems like we’re still patting backs and handing out awards for last week, still floating about it, bragging about polls.

I really hope these coaches are in the players ear that last week is over. We all need to focus on the task at hand. We haven’t won anything yet!!!!!

I’ll admit, I’m not liking the tone this week.

Me neither. I have to remind myself (hope?) that the years of coming out flat after big wins and playing down to shitty competition we’re mostly Miles era.

We should roll, but we should have rolled against A&M last year too.

It’s important that fans only think about the next opponent. No let downs!

Before the Alabama game we were overlooking all of our opponents

Now we are looking back at Bama

The Team is focused.

They aren’t just here for Bama.

They want it all. And if they want year end awards they gotta pad stats.

I certainly get this vibe from the fans, but where are you getting it from the team/coaches? Joe Burrow was literally still on the field Saturday when he was talking about having higher goals than just beating Alabama. Coach O surely has a special motivation for Ole Miss every year. Theyll be fine

quick when is the last time fan message board talk had any effect on the team's attitude towards a game?

You know the best thing about the Ole Miss game is not only the fact that Ole Miss fired him, it is how he was treated by the good ole baws of their fanbase and how they ridiculed his Bayou South LA heritage and culture. This one will always be personal to Coach O. My guess he communicates his feelings to the team about how he feels about Ole Miss. While he will never publicly state it (and I hope no player ever reveals how he feels if he tells them), it is personal with him towards that School.

Can you guess the big difference between this year and previous years?

(Hint: it just happened a few days ago.)

This is the first time in years we're in the driver's seat in the West following the Bama game. The guys will be focused on the task at hand.

Hell, Burrow and Coach O mentioned Ole Miss in the post-game conference.

When LSU is in NC hunt, this late in the season, I am nervous about every game no matter the opponent.

Not me. Ole miss can not throw the ball and we are stout against the run. We will win by 30+.
