We have more confidence in CBK than to think a PAC-12 reject would be our starting QB.

J Daniel's 10td 10 int. That's the guy in the pac12 not the sec.

Nuss? Less experience, no bowl game.

Sorry genius. 4th game & the 1st team that was worth a shite. Technically, that makes the 6-5 comment even worse.

This board freaks out & jumps to ridiculous conclusions.

So you saying Denbrock runs a boring plain Jane offense?

I think there will be many more melts complaining about the play calling than the QB position. Those expecting to see any semblance of our 2019 offense will be really disappointed.

No joke.

A lot of people are going to be sorely disappointed.

This is the only QB prediction that is based on science.

No he’ll be doubled more often than not until jaray, bech, and nabers prove themselves and then defenses will mix it up.

As a fan of LSU first and foremost, the most important thing ultimately, is winning. I trust the coaches to make the right choice so I accept whoever they choose.

Simple but true. #7 needs to draw constant attention to free up 1 on 1 match ups across this young offense.

With the horses we have at receiver, I expect the guys besides #7 to be able to beat their 1v1 matchups more often than not. Just need someone to deliver the ball accurately.

Start melting baby.

As the starting QB will inevitably be Garrett Nussmeier.

As Brennan doesn't give a hoot about winning the starting job. When Brian Kelly called him, he jumped at the opportunity to re-commit to LSU.

Why? Well, his choices were playing for Southern Mississippi, with their shitty campus, shitty football program, and practically zero NIL or recommit to play for LSU to get back on the lucrative NIL gravy train. Hence, it was a no brainer.

However, what most people haven't realized is that Brennan doesn't give a shite about winning the starting job. He is perfectly happy and content being in a back up roll.

How do I know? Easy, Brennan never showed up like Nussmeier and Daniels did every day during summer work outs to throw with the receivers. As he obviously doesn't care enough about winning the starting job.

Moreover, since Joe Sloan is bound to know about it, so does Brian Kelly and Mike Denbrock know about it. Hence, not only will Brennan not be the starter in the fall but he will remain with the team to continue collecting his lucrative NIL gravy train in a backup roll as long as possible.

Hence, that means the real QB competition is between Nuss and Daniels. However, Daniels is far too piss poor of a passer to ever be named the starter, given how good LSU's wide receivers are. However, he can help this team out by being a wildcat package QB.

Which means that Garrett Nussmeier is who will inevitably be named the starter soon.

So let the melt begin!

Because it's a message board and that's what you do on a message board. If you don't like it, go back to Lifetime and catch your afternoon movie.

This is always such a ridiculous take. I would love to see Brennen win the job but if Nuss or Daniels starts then that is who the coaches feel is the best QB moving forward. Why would anyone melt? Just win baby! Anyone who melts is just an emotional snowflake.

There are posters on here that think Myles Brennan walks on water and deserves to start because he's been here forever, and they will melt in 2 weeks when CBK names the top 2 qb's and MB is 3rd on the depth chart
