I would rather have had Tom Brady on last year's team. Since we're considering players who weren't actually eligible, why not?

All 3 LSU players still had remaining eligibility. Randle & Brockers decided to declare for the draft & Mathieu decided to be a dumbass. All 3 could have played last year.

TM7 and it's not even close. He's on the team and there isn't the preseason distraction and we're competing in a NC last year.

I'll go with Randle.
Red zone offense was horrible last year in respect to where most top notch programs were. Rueben would at least give us the fade option and if nothing else force a double team and free up a man.

I could have definitely seen this team going undefeated & getting another shot at the NC with him back on.

I hate to say it but I kinda agree. Dude was such a playmaker. If he had a 2011 type season, I think we would have played for the NC.

Is this real life? Mathieu. The guy basically won us the UGA and Arkansas game last year. You think he wouldn't have done the same this year? Guy was the best playmaker to dawn the LSU uni.

People that don't pick Mathieu are out of their minds.

Randle. The WRs were terrible esp early on.

It would not have been any more enjoyable to watch Mett repeatedly overthrow Randle, IMO.

Totally agree with said post. Seeing Tyrann on the field for one more year would have been satisfying.

Did Randle ever do anything that you turned to your buddy and said "I can't believe he just did that?" Now, how many times did you say it about Mathieu. Mathieu was a game changer of proportions we have never seen in an LSU uniform. Randle was not.

mathieu would have also accounted for about four or five touchdowns while Randle would have been in the 8-9 area.

No contest, Mathieu.

Easy question: Mathieu. He always seemed to get things moving if we were struggling. Just look at the Oregon, West Virginia, and Georgia games in 2011.

ETA: And Arkansas. Thanks, Tiger Authority.

Randle-deep threat
Really?? Is that why he wasn't used last year in the NC game against Bama?

As much as I loved watching Tyrann I think Randle would of put up easily 1100 yards and vastly improve the struggling offense. That offense is what lost us all 3 games...
