Bianca is probably in the bottom half of the sec
Andy had one good season with a team Cohen built and was 0-5 against PM
There would be no fall off with Cannizzaro. Recruit good players, your team is going to be good. LSU is almost turn key in that regard. This team needs a different vision & culture outside of just having stud players.

Interview these guys and choose the guy who has the best vision and which is the best fit for LSU baseball
Kevin 0’sullivan
Dan McDonnell
Greg Lovelady
Gary Gilmore
Kirk Saarloos
Kevin McMullen

Yes Andy should get a look too

Andy would never leave Holy Cross High School to be the HC at LSU! You must be crazy!

You think the answer is an assistant at a school that's going to miss the ncaa tournament 2 years in a row because their assistants have been poor recruiters?

Let’s compare postseason resumes

Hey, whoever gets the gig after Pawl leaves better bring a magic fricking wand with him to make the injuries disappear.

Your point is?

Ben McDonald sure sounds good in the booth. If his knowledge of the game would translate to the field and in game decisions he could be a damn strong coach

That the majority of this board would be ready to run him off with pitchforks.

Andy isn’t even coaching at HC yet

He’s the top recruiter in college baseball and I didn’t say hire him I said interview. You’d rather hire a 70 year old?

? You think the best hire for the future is someone who’s past their prime but has a good resume? You can’t have accomplishments until you’re given a chance. You don’t hire fir the future by looking to the past of an old coach, you hire based on what the guy brings to the table and what he can do not what he did do.

False.

How did you pull this question out of your arse?

Sorry people in the know disagree.
Current article I see. It still lists Vitello as being at Arkansas. So that article came out before Saarloos' recruiting efforts kept TCU out of the tournament 2 straight years.
Any recent success TCU had was built off the recruiting classes signed while Vitello was their recruiting coordinator.

Bianco has done a great job in the toughest conference in baseball. He is an LSU alum and coaches likeSkip. If you think OM isn’t at a disadvantage compared to LSU, A&M, Ark and MSU I don’t know what to tell you.
Cannizzaro is young and I like his approach to hitting and think he would recruit guys that LSU fans want...not the little slap hitters that PM has recruited.
