Who would take Jimbo for 2020?

It's all hypothetical, so calm down. Let's just suppose this season doesn't go the way we all want it to, would you approve of Scott bringing in Jimbo? Jimbo has a $0 buyout and he and Scott are old friends. Who's in and who's out?

I’m out. Giving him a 10 year, $100 million contract with no buyout(which, why would he leave for anything less) is a deal-breaker. Saban and Dabo are the only 2 coaches you would even consider throwing some like that out to. And I’m not loving the mess he left at Florida State if I’m looking to hire him. Plus, he would have left A&M after just 2 years. Promote Aranda and call it a day.
But this is a strange hypothetical. I can’t imagine is being so bad that it would justify firing O this year. He’d have to do something off the field imho.

Jimbo has the same number of titles as Les and Gene Chizik. Why don’t we just call them instead? He won in a weak conference and has yet to prove he can win big in the SEC.

I've said before, if woody has to make a coaching change, jimbo is not the only coach he can hire. He loves to make a splash hire. Best believe he'll search far and wide and hire the best man to lead lsu football
