Okay, many people bash Miles and point out everything the guy does wrong. If he was to leave tomorrow, please name a coach who could do better than him.

i think the popular answer you will get, is the one he is facing this Saturday. Another would be a former coach we face down the road.

Do you think Saban would have lost only 6 games the last three seasons?

I like Miles and am glad he is our guy, but I have always had the most respect for Butch Davis. I wanted him here badly when Saban left.

I agree with this. But to answer the original question, for where we're at as a program we've got the perfect guy.

Stoops would be an epic fail in the SEC. 0-4 in his last 4 BCS games including that massive failure losing to Boise State.

I can't believe you guys are posting this shite. I am pissed about the loss Saturday but goddamn you guys have catastrophe syndrome. I was in school for the DiNardo days and it was painful those last 2 years. We have a inexperienced QB and holes in the secondary. We will get better but we must face reality that we will probably end up 9-3 this season.

Yes there are probably other coaches in existence who are better than Miles. But Miles is our coach, and he has proved himself to be very capable. He just won a national title for christ sake.

I cant believe we are having this discussion. jesus.

9-3 is better than florida last season... assuming an lsu victory in a bowl game.

but i think we beat georgia, lose to bama.

no seccg appearance, but only 2 losses

Even powerhouse programs lose games. It happens. LSU has a major problem at defense. It will be fixed. The QB will grow up. the OL will remember how to block. Relax.
