I hope it's not Guice. That means our WR's are going to have a bad year.
That's not necessarily true. The passing game at Pitt had a pretty good distribution of targets. Their leading receiver only had 36 catches. The next guy had 35. James Conner was the 5th leading pass catcher, but 3rd on the team in terms of receiving yards. I think Guice is a much better receiver than Conner and LSU has at least one other RB (Williams) who has proven he can pick up yardage in the SEC. I wouldn't be shocked to see the move Guice around in a ton of different places.
The more times you can get the ball in #5's hands, the better. Opposing defenses know that and will key on him, so why not try to move him around and get favorable matchups (even if that is sometimes in the passing game)

Great question OP, Gauge caught 5 passes last year all in one game. No current WR's had a catch until 2016 and only four did last year totalling @35 catches. I'm hoping it is Davis or Anderson, but the later is never mentioned (dog house?).

Several players have shown flashes, but no one proven, including Chark
I agree but the rant acts like Chark caught 50 passes for a 1000 yards & 10 tds

It's not about Chark's numbers. We all know we haven't been able to get the ball to our playmakers, but he's produced when he's touched the ball.

Absolutely either Drake Davis or Dee Anderson.

Or it means we are committed to getting the ball in our best players hands in a creative way

Could be guice, the 3rd leading receiver on Pitt was their rb. Guy with 2nd most yards was their TE.
The wr with the 4th most yards was also 2nd in rushing yards.

Drake Davis
I would expect it will be DD or Dee as our next best receivers, after Chark.

Drake Davis is gonna be a freak before he leaves. First round talent physically let's see if he can make it happen on the field
