“Anybody would have won the championship Les won. I know this because an imbecile won a fluke championship with Sabin players”

Again you can’t prove any of that and the proof you gave is asinine. I wasn’t a Les Miles fan so damn you for making me defend him but posts like yours are just idiotic. Let me ask you a question, if Orgeron wins a title this year will you say it’s because he had Miles’ players?

Why can’t anyone be happy with the truth? That Orgeron to date isn’t anywhere near Les Miles accomplishments, which is the only thing that matters, but that we love the roster he’s put together going into 2019 plus the Brady hire and that we hope and pray that this is the season he can match some of Miles success. Once that’s done we hope it’s a springboard that helps him surpass Miles but currently there is no comparison. If people can’t admit that they’re biased plain and simple.

Completely agree. But like I said before to you: most, not all, but most O lovers it's either you're all in with O or you're an O hater or whatever the term is this week and not a fan of the program and yada yada yada.....

I want him to succeed. I want O to win a championship.

I've given him credit when it's due but I'm also not going to blindly follow him just because.

He has done much better than I thought he would. Praying this success continues to improve.

Is there any proof that this will happen and why not do it this year?

He’s basically the CO-OC. He’s designed the playbook, and like you correctly said “Ensminger doesn’t even want the job”. E can can call plays with the best of them......I know you don’t know me from Adam.......But Brady is your 2020 OC....

Take that to the bank bro

O accepts his faults and makes changes.

Not really. He couldn't put aside whatever issues he had with Canada (to be fair, I've heard Canada is horrible to work with but if I know that, O darn well should've known that. So why hire him?)

To me, the blame for this is on both individuals, O and Canada. While Canada very well could be the biggest jerk to work with, he was the OC the last time we scored vs Bama. (almost 2 years ago now)

O hasn't even had the lead in a game vs Bama, let alone win it.

After Saban won his 1st natty at Bama, Miles beat him 2 more times.

Back to the season with Canada, O fires him. So to me, he hardly accepted his faults for making the hire, even though Canada's gameplan helped put points on the scoreboard. So instead of working things out, putting aside differences (from both parties) and accepting his faults, O fires him.

He also tends to throw players under the bus at press conferences that are broadcast nationwide. That's not a trend I care for in a coach.

Yes, there are times to motivate a player and such but you don't do it to a nationwide audience. That is for behind closed doors.

Well I don’t know why you’d think that and I’m not going to get caught up in that argument. But you’re not answering my questions, why not just hire him as the OC now? And what kindve proof do you have that he’ll be the OC next season? What is leading you to believe so strongly that it’s without a doubt going to happen?

Because he’s 28 and has never been an OC or called plays in D1.

then end of miles' tenure

Losing to bama
Losing to MULTIPLE OTHER INFERIOR TEAMS
having a lack luster offense

O's tenure

Loses to Bama
Loses to multiple other inferior teams
Has a shite offense.

Yeah this is so much better than Miles.

The difference is that miles was bashed for losing 3-4 games while O is being touted.plain and simple.

Facts and shite

You mean the mid major that gave up 445 yards and 34 points ,IN A SINGLE HALF, against Temple?

I've given the man credit for things, getting Burrow here, getting to a NY6 bowl again, but the barometer, the thing everyone looks at are the games against Bama.

In 3 years, we've scored 10 points vs Alabama. 10.

Didn’t Les get fired for too many 9-3 seasons? And you’re celebrating O after his first 2 full seasons as HC both ended in 9-3 regular seasons? Exceeding expectations is having us in contention for CFP, not producing the same records that got his predecessor fired

Thank you.
If losing 3-4 games a year mean you're doing a great job, then miles was doing a great job in 2012,2013,2015.
Why did we fire a coach that was doing such a great job?

In Miles' last game vs Bama, he scored more on them than O has in 3 years.

Poster earlier pointed this out and he was correct.

So you're saying O backdoored his way into a #6 finish?

Thank God so many other programs lost at least 3 games so the top ranked 3 loss team would finish 6th.

But let me guess, you dont apply the same logic to O.

2013
2015( with mcneese game and yes I'm counting it because miles didnt lose to mid majors).

Wait....

You think posting objective facts about both tenures is defending someone?

Am I supposed to lie and say their win loss numbers arent the same?
Am I supposed to lie an say the 2018 was better than 2013 and 2015?

Your unlimited hard on for a coach that spent his entire career taking shots at lsu is weird.
