Orgerons promise when he was hired was that he’d get us over the hump and into the playoffs competing for national titles. Not Western division titles not SEC titles he said playoffs and nattys. And now that he hasn’t delivered his army of religious worshipers have tried to reset the expectations to cover for him. They’re not fooling anyone and if things don’t improve the new AD won’t take the hits for someone else’s hire.

So? LSU had to go through Urban Meyer and Jim Tressel while they were both at their peaks at Florida and Ohio State.

He's an upgrade over Les circa 2015 and beyond. And anyone unwilling to admit that is a fricking fool. Les was a cowardly, defeated old man, closer in line to Lee Corso than a guy who could compete against the best in college football. O is at least trying to bring in the talent, both on the field and on the sidelines, to address LSU'e deficiencies. Les had become complacent. O is hungry. For that alone he's an upgrade.

Recruiting, he is a slight upgrade.

Coaching, time will tell. Les averaged 10 wins for over a decade. Coach O has a ways to go, but he is starting out well.

Has O won the SEC?

O won a Natty? Got to another one?

There's your answer.

He’s had 2 years.......you see the current recruiting class? He was shite on by every pundit and most of this fan base until this past season where he finished #6 in the Nation. He now has some capital to work with and is obviously kicking arse with it.......

No other School in the Nation is getting recruits attention like LSU is besides Clemson and Bama......

And O is playing their game tit for tat.......

He’s absolutely exceeded everyone’s expectations.

If you just don’t like the guy then fine.

How long has the WR coach turned Head Coach been at Clemson? Which is the ACC

Why can’t anyone be happy with the truth? That Orgeron to date isn’t anywhere near Les Miles accomplishments, which is the only thing that matters, but that we love the roster he’s put together going into 2019 plus the Brady hire and that we hope and pray that this is the season he can match some of Miles success. Once that’s done we hope it’s a springboard that helps him surpass Miles but currently there is no comparison. If people can’t admit that they’re biased plain and simple.

Because O accepts his faults and makes changes......Les wouldn’t have sniffed another 10 win season at LSU with the offense he was running.

O and Les are recruiters plain and simple, but I’ll give the COMMON SENSE nod to O.

You can’t possibly know that and it still doesn’t change reality or fact. If you want to base your expectations on optimism and wishes that’s fine but don’t attack people with a more grounded data based outlook. I absolutely love Burrow and Brady and I think we have the most talented group of WRs in the country but I don’t think for one second that guarantees anything or that because we have those guys that Orgeron have proven he’s better than Miles.

Dude, Bama players have been laughing and saying for years they knew every single play LSU was gonna run!

Be an O hater. He’s making the right moves though

Gotta love people who shite on Miles’ National Championship just to try and make O, who has never sniffed a national championship as a head coach, look better.

O’s recruiting is objectively worse than Miles was by all metrics. Sidelines? HE HIRED MILES’ TE COACH AS HIS OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR.

Recruiting is the most important aspect of a college coach followed by execution, development, and game planing. He has had some bad bounces in recruiting in the trenches but if he starts landing 5* guys there it would be a total game changer. His teams execution and consistency havn't been elite enough to contend for a national championship. I really want him to succeed, but I honestly have no idea what to expect in the next 2 seasons.

Les won and took us to another championship, there is no comparison thus far.

Les scored more points in his last game against Bama than O has in his three combined games.

Cmon that was for the national title game in 2012 they haven’t been saying it “for years”. You’re gonna tell me 0 points in two home games is better? I’m with you I think this year could be great however I’m very worried about him putting the shackles on the offense again. Why not just hire Brady to be the OC? Ensnimger doesn’t even want the job and would have no problem stepping aside to let a new OC take over. I know why do you?

Brady will 100% be the OC in 2020. Hence my “making the right moves” remark. These O vs Miles shite threads will never go well.

But it’s my damn Opinion the team is in better hands than with Miles.

You can’t prove that right or wrong to this point

“Brady will 100% be the OC in 2020.”

Is there any proof that this will happen and why not do it this year? I’m not arguing your opinions but you keep making these statements mixed in and they’re just not provable or knowable.
