Who starts next year, Nuss or Howard?

Who do you think has the leg up? I think Nuss has the talent and every bit of the ability, but I can see him transferring based off of the way he’s been treated this season. If we’re down 6 and need a score with 2 minutes left, I want the ball in Nuss’ hands and I trust him more than anyone to sling it and put up points. I also find it very hard to believe that Walker will be kept off the field the entire year next season. Everyone that has been at practice has reported that Walker throws the best ball and is the most accurate. Who do you think starts?

How has he been treated exactly that makes you think he wants to transfer?

He’s been kept on the bench and been forced to watch an abortion of a QB this year and hasn’t been given an opportunity besides garage time against a SWAC school

This is one of the worst hot takes of the year

The dumbest part of a dumb post.
Our current starting QB has led us to multiple drives to take back the lead or get us back in the game. It started with game 1 with a 99 yard drive to get us within one point of tying the game.

Too bad he didn’t look very good in those garbage time SWAC games. He might could have won the position.

No but tell us again how Nuss hasn’t been given the “opportunity”.

Physically he may be. Mentally, he’s 6 at best.
To be honest, he’s probably some dipshit alter from the SECRant.

The dumpster fire was the pick six that Nuss threw against Southern when we had a 30 point lead. No legitimate SEC quarterback makes that throw EVER. He will never start at LSU. He played well against Georgia and I wish him well when he transfers. He would make a great ACC quarterback.

I swear the football IQ on this site is extremely low.

I’m thinking more along the lines of 12 years old.

There were many self-conflicted reasons Garrett's strong arm was kept on the bench. Hopefully, he will mature and become a viable option next year. I want all the QBs to be reach their respective potenials.

SpecialTed, I would not say Garrett played well. He executed some beautiful passes and some ill advised passes. There could have been one or two more interceptions. SEC QBs must maintain intensity and focus on every down.
A good post, but I would have used the word improved instead of well.
