It looks ridiculous. And if eye black works, wouldn't it technically interfere with your vision?
I'm also not a fan of the huge eye black triangle that covers nearly the entire cheeck and then turns into a big black mess when the player starts sweating. I think that was stared by Lattermore in that movie The Program?
