Some sources told me that they are going to let you put your name in a hat and draw from there.

It leaves a void on the defensive x & o side. Grant's teams always played pretty good D (some years better than others). He wouldn't be the worst option

Why is there always a huge instant hard-on for people who played here when a coaching job comes open? It was like this for football when the O-line job came open (Kevin Mawae), and when the baseball hitting coach job came open (Todd Walker among others). It was a mentality of "Oh, he played at LSU, so surely he can coach".

So Livingston was a D-league coach for a couple of years. So what? I would rather have an experienced coach from the college ranks who can recruit and do x and o work. I don't want the position to turn into an entry-level job for some guy "just because he went to LSU"

I'm interested to see who Jones reaches out to if Musselman leaves. He's hired some really solid assistants since he's been here: Kirby, McCray, Musselman

I'd like to see us take an expert with Zone Defense. With our athletes we would be tough to beat with a strong zone D.
