I don't think anyone except TMjr should leave, but what about those seniors that stayed this year? Does Deculus stay? Ingram? Stevens after Pelini tanking his stock?

According to Orlovsky, the entire QB room sans whoever starts the last game.

maybe Ed Ingram too.

Idk if you consider guys like Stevens as "leaving" since he is technically a senior even though he does have the option of coming back. If you do count them then we might lose Deculus, Shanahan, Harris, Cox, and Farrell as well.

Hopefully the majority of those guys will accept the extra year of eligibility though.

It’s LSU so I would plan on every eligible player to bolt.

It’s become the Tiger way.

Marshall gone as you stated. I think we lose Ingram. Probably Deculus too, regardless of whether he “should” go pro yet.

Ali Gaye might go. I assumed Stevens and Cox would be gone but the way they’ve been playing, they might both need another year of tape.

Marshall
Stevens
Logan
Cox
Maybe Gaye

Logan isn’t going to get more playing time.

He’s a 5th year senior and he’s just ok. Like how much better is he expecting to get?

He should come back and make another run at a Natty next season.

If he keeps playing like he has in the 1st 4 games, his stock will plummet. He might as well come back another year unless he starts playing like he did last year.

We might be better off without them honestly. Open comp. with the young guys.

Can we please slow down with this Ali Gaye hype. He has a high ceiling, but has a ton of room for improvement. He is average at best against the run and has been slightly above average as a pass rusher after the Miss St game. People actually said that he would go top 10 and should opt out after the Miss St game. Same thing with Finley after 1 game. Im excited too, but lets just slow down a bit.

I just hope that Marshall doesn't shut it down during the season.

If I was Brennan, I’d look for a team, either ACC or pac 12, with a strong Oline and need at the QB position. He’d be leaving the team in capable hands and reduce his risk of injury. He may also get a nice graduate degree paid for in the bargain.

The dude literally leads the league in pressures. Not saying he will be a top 10 pick but he’s def been better than slightly above average against the pass. The only reason he doesn’t have more sacks is because he’s set up his teammates for more ala Ojulari.

O should already be running a full-court press to convince Marshall to stay and win a championship.

Brennan's not a quitter.

Let's finish the season first. Maybe we go on a run. Maybe we shite the bed. Maybe we live up to the potential.

Nah, he seems like a solid young man with maturity and a good work ethic, but there nothing “quitter” about looking out for yourself. If he wants a pro career, he should reduce his risk of injury by playing behind a better oline, against smaller/less skilled opponents.

Here we go. Let's be sure to promote the 3 and out LSNFLU culture within our program. No more bitching about losing too many players to the draft (or the undrafted free agent route which too many end up taking). Just keep it up, Rantards.

I wasn’t saying he should go. But this is LSU. If a player has a >50% chance of being an UDFA I assume he’s gone.
