Cresse was a douche
He took a picture with 12 year old lsu2006 outside the Hoover Met and the 2000 SEC tournament and seemed like a nice enough guy

Blake Dean baws
That walk off vs. Rice in the 2008 CWS is one of my all-time favorite Tigers baseball moments

My all time favorite as a kid was Lyle Mouton. My all-star team played a game before an LSU/Oral Roberts game in the Dome when it was the Busch Challenge. He signed my glove and then we watched him hit bombs in BP. He was pretty much a superhero to 11yr old me.

great baseball player but one huge douche, most great athletes are douches though and thats perfectly fine
For a lot of pro athletes it’s a confidence thing more than a douche thing. Most people don’t understand the confidence in your self it takes to be a professional athlete and to perform at the level he does. It can sometimes come off as cocky or douchey as most people don’t have that much confidence in themselves.

His catch over the wall, saving the day in the CWS, is my favorite play since I was there with my son and saw it in person. Great memory. Definitely one of my favorites for that reason alone.
Eddy Furniss is probably my actual answer.

You mentioned Tookie Johnson...I had played against Tookie Spann in the State playoffs when he was at Brother Martin, I was a freshman and he was a Senior(I rode pine, he played)
I thought Spann was Jesus himself...then I just looked him up and it says he passed away in 2015. Damn.
My favorite list is:
McDonald
Walker
Cresse
Duplantis
I cant imagine I will ever enjoy a single season by an LSU player than I did Cresse in 2000.

Easy choice... Blake Dean. Straight baller and had the best walk up song in baseball (Fireman by Lil Wayne)

Didnt have a stellar career at LSU, but I still love me some Brian Wilson, just for entertainment purposes
