Magdiel Cotto
Travis Luensmann
Brandon Fields
All three appear to have been highly regarded from last year’s class but they’ve seen limited action this season. Not sure if it’s injury related or due to lack of production/success.

I remember the days when I had Luke’s notifications turned on. I once had Wilson’s on too but they were absolutely useless. No game reminders/updates/discussions/etc. He’s the fricking worst.

Can Brandon Fields play catcher?

No, but Crews can.

I haven’t heard of LSU having any of these talks yet.

I appreciate that.

Again, it remains sad that this board is more informed than the people that are paid to be informed.

To be fair, LSU isn’t typically ready to be having these discussions this early.

You would think Arkansas and South Carolina aren't either.

Maybe with the portal being what it is, the kids are initiating conversations. Being in the portal allows for teams to contact you and things of that nature.

LSU usually does this after super regionals. Typically LSU will have a different roster for the SEC tournament, regionals and Super Regionals. They will carry extra pitchers for SEC and regionals and then drop a pitcher or 2 for position players for super regionals

I say Edwards looks like he has the best shot of emerging as a starter.

how often do our starters throw more than 100 pitches in a game? You’re not a true LSU baseball fan if you can’t answer this off the top of your head. You have 3 minutes to reply.

You dumbasses asked when was the last time it happened. You idiots challenged me. I told you morons that Labas was coming off Major Shoulder Surgery from 2019 and CPM threw him for 9 innings and 126 pitches just a couple of weeks ago and he did it in an act of desperation in order
to try to win a series vs Ole Miss.

You and your fellow nitwits just run your mouths and then ignore reality. Truly a bunch of dunces.

CPM is a damn joke and his teams are all looking the same year in and year out. All these "great" players but LSU is playing sub-500 SEC Baseball. It really doesn't matter because Maineiri is gone at the end of this season.
Thank goodness because it is time for new blood in the stagnant LSU Baseball Program.

That can't be true. Only our pitchers get injured.

Yikes. That's a huge blow for them.

You think his shoulder wasn't or isn't 100%? I don't get why it's relevant at this point. He should be babied for the rest of his life as a pitcher?

Reality means we look beyond a single number and look at everything in context. You're the one with your head in the sand ignoring how few 100-pitch games we've thrown, the game situation itself, how far removed Labas is from surgery...

Right on, man. Right on.

Speaking of injuries, does anyone know the status of Connor Prielipp for Bama?

Saw he pitched vs Auburn, but didn’t face UK or Vandy. Is he hurt again?

I haven't heard. He pitched an inning against Auburn, didn't look great, and hasn't been seen since. I doubt we see him this weekend.
