If there’s an mismanagement problem in terms of overuse, it doesn’t happen during the games. Not to say it can’t happen over the course of a week or weeks with how pitchers are handled between appearances like Marceaux in 2019. But the in game stuff doesn’t exist. Labas wasn’t struggling that day. He barely broke a sweat. No innings were very laborious.
This is what I was saying right after the Labas start. If he got the proper rest and recovery time the week after the start then it’s not problematic. Now I have no insight into how pitchers are being worked during the week outside of some stuff I’ve read on here, usually from you.

Labas was extended against Ole Miss because it was Friday and his next start was on Saturday so he had an extra day of rest.
Now he was terrible in his next start and not as sharp as usual in the one after that against Auburn but whatever.
But there was a valid reason to let him go a little longer at Ole Miss.

Found a couple of the transfer names:
There is also another report out of Auburn, but I couldn't find any names.
An unreported item I got is that there is about to be a mass exodus from Mizzou.

Right-handers Jacob Burton and Nate Wohlgemuth have left the team and will pursue opportunities elsewhere. They are the first Arkansas players to transfer since the fall.

We won’t make a regional. Labas won’t be a pro pitcher.
So…
So…

I disagree with this. I think his control and ability to stay in the zone will make him attractive to a team that feels like they can add velo. They might also see some reverse projection in him if he drops some of the bad weight.

When you have 55 kids on your roster and have to get it down to 40 next year, yeah… a ton of kids are gone.
ETA: they have 13 players using jersey numbers in the 50s and 60s. It’s like spring training for the Yankees over there.

I went to the Mizzou-Tenn sunday game this past weekend. The Mizzou game program showed a stat that they had 27 newcomers on the roster this season.
That's never a good thing when a coach is in his 5th year at the school.

AJ will be the first pick in the 2030 dad beer league draft

He will get drafted but I can’t see him going beyond A much less AA. He has a changeup that plays and that’s it.

They have 16 freshmen.

Depends on the org. If he gets drafted by the Indians, I could see him going farther. If he gets drafted by almost anyone else, you're probably right.

He’s a right handed Jared Poche and you can’t convince me otherwise.

What bad weight? I commented in a thread a while back about how good physically AJ looked. The best of his career. I don’t see bad weight on him but that’s just my opinion

Cliff Godwin licking his chops

he's got dad bod. He looks like an MLB middle reliever from the mid 90s.

The goatee doesn't help
AJ looks like he crushes miller high lifes in the dugout between innings

In the past I may agree with you but not this year

He looks like Bob wickman

Other schools have started exit interviews with players that aren't on their travel rosters. Maybe if we had competent local reporters, we might know if LSU also started that process.
