He recognizes talent, and he gets it to produce. We can use guy like that.
We have others on staff who know the south.

This guy recruited 7 guys who got drafted JUST THIS YEAR to Stony Brook...STONY BROOK. Something tells me it's more than just knowing his own area well. He's recruiting more talent up there than anyone close by him. What that tells me is not only does he have a great eye for talent but being their hitting coach clearly knows how to develop these guys to their max while teaching great discipline. There is not a chance in hell this guy is a downgrade from Javi.
