Tommy Davis was the man. He punted the ball almost every time into a coffin corner. I saw him playing bowling one nite in Shreveport when I was interning at Confederate Memorial Medical Center 1959-60.

LSU Football Punter from 1948

Trying to find the name of a tiger punter who played on the team around 1948. He almost always kicked the ball out on coffin corners and played in the pros for several years. I believe he was from the shreveport area.
