Ed all the way!

We have the best in Ensminger already on staff. Riley just got lucky with his 34 points tonight.

I say take your so called innovation and shove it! Give Ed 10 more years and he'll get there.

Well one is quite possibly the most sought after coach by NFL GMs and the other is not. That should speak volumes as to the answer to your qiestion.

Meh. An L is an L. Spin it all you want. Lincoln would get his arse run out of Baton Rouge in year 1 with the worst ranked D in the nation.

If you could pair Riley with Aranda that would be a sight to see. As it is he’s half a coach. He’s an offensive genius but their defense is dogshit.

Bob Stoops & his brother Mike left a big turd in Norman in terms of defensive talent. Riley needs to bring in a good defensive mind who can also begin to recruit better on that side of the ball.

I don't know. It would be nice to see if year 1 also included a Heisman winning QB and a dynamic offense to cover for that D.

And to Riley's credit, he fired Mike Stoops midseason. OU fans are still pissed Venables was pushed away to bring him back.

OU has not been the same defensively since losing Venables. On the otherhand, Clemson & Dabo aren't where they are now without Venables.

Riley should fire ever coach on defense....that was hard to watch...a defense that gives up 40 a game and still goes 11 and 2

They haven't. In fairness, Mike Stoops had some great defenses during his first stint at OU, but I think Bob had more to do with that. I believe Bob was more hands off towards the end of his tenure.

Crazy, but true. They always seemed to have offensive talent, going all the way back to Woody Dantzler. But "Clemsoning" began fading out after Venables arrived. The defense took them from a solid program to an elite contender.

This is probably true. Game planning is probably what started Bob to become burned out in the first place which eventually down the road, lead to his retirement.

And out come the dummies. Full force.

O is 1000x the coach. OU doesn’t even attempt to play D and he got lucky with KM and the flag football offense.... and they play in the big 12. Who do they have to play again? With that said, I do think Riley is a good coach.

These threads are in some ways a positive thing for the board so that we can identify all the FN idiots.

Folks on here had several threads saying LSU gave Alabama a much better fight than Oklahoma.

The student workers that get paid by LSU to post on message boards, need to realize that LSU needs to score at least a point to have a chance to win a game. Slinger had two games and couldn't score a single point. They still proclaim he is the best.

In other words Saban is a much better coach than Dabo.

Coordinators don’t matter much to Saban. LSU fans are obsessed with them.
