Who feels Orgeron HAS to announce Kiner as the starter vs MSU?

Last week was a good step in the right direction for this team, but the running game is still a big problem and Kiner has been the only back to consistently show he can make things happen even with poor blocking. Forget the junior-over-freshman argument, going with what works and hopefully alleviating the pressure off a young coming into his own QB will show a lot of people that Orgeron is truly committed to doing what is needed to win.
I like TDP, but it's not happening for him right now, and Kiner has earned it.

This team needs some sort of base to stand on. If the team has confidence in him, then I would say yes.

That's fine, but honest question...what does it benefit to keep TDP the starter, unless it's a question of pass blocking?

Why would he announce anything at all? To make the fans happy?
Nah. Don't say a word. Keep it in house. Let the players know by the end of the week....
But DUH... Kiner is the better runner of the 2. TDP is solid in picking up the blitz though.

I don’t think that is necessary. Why make it public just play him. Also, I think tdp is actually a good back, he just needs a head of steam with toss dive type plays to be successful.

Kiner should start or enter early and often, but there is no need to "announce" anything.
