YES! I knew Les couldn't beat Saban twice. I was hoping for the best, but I kind of came to terms with losing before the game started.

I'm flicking nervous. Anxious. When the ball is kicked off shite happens. Not always what you expect. I love this team so much. So much on the line. Playing against great athletes. Nothing else matters. Not the relative strength of schedules or a position by position comparison or home field advantage. Just comes down to ONE 60 minute game. The only reason I'm nervous is because I was confident going into 1/9/12 and that obviously didn't work.

It has been a joke all year, but when we kick off and the god damn ball goes out the back of the end zone every time, my wife knows I'm gonna feign wiping a tear from my eye. That and there are not 5 false starts, and we are looking at the clock and USING it to start the plays when we want to now. God, this team and staff is different than the past. Oh and I was not thrilled with O at first, and I was WRONG!

Then you were crazy. Anyone who thought Saban was going to lose twice to the same team was delusional. That game had the run up and feel of “oh shite” and it was worse than expected.

We as a fan base were in denial of the divisions in the locker room going into that game. There are major differences between them and now.
Our offense is completely revamped and there is no fear of not being able to score. The defense is peaking at the right time.
