I'm hoping Texas sacks up and agrees to play them again.

according to them, they dont have an opening till 2018...yea right.
i dont expect that game is coming back any time soon

I think Texas is making themselves more and more irrevelant in the greater college football universe...who outside of Texas do you think will watch the Longhorn Network (and for that matter, who cares?)

Me. Living in Tejas for 20+ years & working around tons of Ags, this game will be fun every year.

Plus, LSU/aTm has history going back to 1899--the UArk force fit never caught on.

Love the TDay games.

then get the fricking pussy teasips to start the series again

People will riot if they try and move this to Thanksgiving in Baton Rouge and the game will get killed by the NFL.

Make it the SEC opener or mid October. Bama-Tennessee is not just another game.

The likelihood of the A&M/Texas series returning is directly related to how long DeLoss Dodds is AD at Texas.

I hope it becomes our rivalry week game. That'd be special.

I think becomes big in terms of recruiting. LSU is the closest school to Texas that plays in the SEC. Kids can stay home now and play in the SEC instead of jumping ship. If the Aggies can show they belong then LSU won't be cherry picking Texas kids. I love the game and series to pick back up. LSU will be and already is hated(in a rivalry way) look forward to some heated battles on the field, but now in recruiting as well.

LSU has always gotten kids out of Texas, that won't change, plus there are more LSU alum in houston than anywhere outside of BR. I think A&M will do better, maybe a guy that would go to UGA or Bama will stay and you will get guys out of La.

Will be a fun series and not just football. I'm looking forward to catching the series at Olsen Field and basketball at Reed Arena.
