I mean after the Amazing Football season it took a while to exhale and focus on basketball which has been a great season up to this point.

Even going to the Texas game a couple weekends ago I was relaxed and didn’t have the anxiousness I normally have watching games I did last year. Probably because we beat that arse in football already.

This past week some of those fun exciting feelings are coming back and after we hopefully clean up Vanderbilt this coming Saturday the game with Auburn will tell us all we need to know about where this team is truly at. Really excited about that game should be a bad arse atmosphere.

Here is to the Fantastic 2019 Championship Football season putting it in the Forever memory bank and onward to hopefully another SEC championship and beyond for our Basketball Tigers.

Depends on your order of fandom. I know die hard LSU baseball fans that eat sleep and breathe baseball and aren’t as focused on football or basketball. Same goes for the basketball diehards.

Majority of LSU fans like all LSU sports but there are some that are more keen on one over the others.

Are you trying to say I’m not still salivating over football season?

I've noticed much smaller crowds than this LSU basketball team should have and I was definitely blaming it on the football success. I'm hoping that is over now, but this LSU team deserves well more fandom than we have given them.

I really dont get how fans cant pay attention to multiple sports at one time. The football and basketball games werent even on the same days. What is it that the football dominant fans are doing on saturday mornings and wednesday nights preventing you from watching and caring about the basketball team too? Guess im one of the few who can multi-task with my sports viewings

Well for me I was just so absorbed into the perfect Football season with all that was going on for me it was just tough thinking about both and doing regular life too.

* And to add no one said I didn't care or watch. I was just under a completely different temperament than usual.

I don't get it either. If by rare chance fb and hoops played at the same time, I would just tape paper to the bottom of the screen to hide the ticker so as not to see the hoops score. Then I watch fb live, and hoops on DVR delay. This isn't Chinese arithmetic we're talking about here.

I guess it depends on your level of interest in the particular sport.
I love LSU basketball and football about the same, so as basketball season started that just meant I had even more stuff to get excited about.
It took zero time for me to get focused on the basketball season.
I couldn't wait for it to tip off.

I’ve never been a big bball fan in general, but I have made a handful of games this year.

Yeah definitely for me FB is king and Baseball and Basketball are 2a and 2b with Basketball being much more exciting obviously.
For me most years it wasn’t like this one but football had so much going on unlike anything we have seen before.

Nah, I’ve been focused since bowling green. It’s not like we ever played on the same day at the same time. Only time the days overlapped was Ole Miss I think

<<< Raises hand. Guilty as charged to be honest.

I can tell you that me and the wife have been tuned in to the last three BBall games and are pumped now. We are following them now very closely.

I cant focus on anything but LSU football really, after that freaking season, are you kidding me?

I love LSU basketball, but what Coach O is doing with this program is unreal. Will Wade is great for sure but it's gonna take a while for me to come down from this football fever.

Some people just are not in to basketball. I am a die hard LSU football fan. I watched the SEC championship, SEC inside version of the Bama game and the rape of aTm this last weekend. I still watch Burrow highlights at lunch every day. I can’t wait until spring ball and the draft. I just don’t care for basketball. I have never watched more than two minutes of a NBA game and couldn’t even tell you who played last year in the NBA championship. I still love LSU though.
