Don’t know why so many people have this take, O’Sullivan has had a lot of success at Florida with almost no administrative support.

Turtle Thomas if you want to be a contender. If not HC, definitely have him on staff as a recruiting coordinator.

If he were the coach at LSU with the same resume he would not be liked by a portion of the fan base. He has a very similar resume as CPM with more talent especially on the mound. I’m not saying this wouldn’t be a great hire but I can see why some people would be hesitant.

Right or wrong, its because people believe he should have won more with the insane amount of talent he brings in. It's a very high bar for him, probably unfairly.
I'd be happy if he got the job, but I'm kinda hoping for Vitello.

If you want a young guy you go Vitelo which is who I want.
If you want an older established guy you go O'Sullivan.
McDonnell shouldn't be on the list and it's hilarious that posters on this board were obsessed with him yet love to shite on PM and O'Sullivan.

7 out of the last 10 World Series he’s been in and he’s proven over time he can build and sustain successs.
On top of the obvious doing less with more, never forget who O's one NC came against.
