Peterson? Hess? Lange?

I dont think it would be smart to put lange back out there with one less day of rest after throwing 120 yesterday and with how extended he has been lately. If they do start him, thinking his pitch count limit is closer to 90

I don't think you will see Lange until Friday.

A week + a day since his start last night?

Nah, he'll be fine pitching on Thursday next week after his normal one week between starts.

I guess its still possible either poche or walker dont pitch well and dont get near 100 pitches, opening them up for wednesday

I'd be surprised if any of our weekend starters pitch on Wednesday at the tournament, unless he is on a strict low pitch count such as 75 or so.

I'm thinking Gilbert or Peterson starts on Wednesday.

("Wednesday" assumes the world doesn't collapse which edges us out of a top four seed and a Tuesday bye.)

Poche - if has a low pitch count today.

Peterson - this is most likely imo.

Gilbert - if he is not needed in relief in the State series.

This. I also think starting Peterson last week vs. NSU was sort of trial test for Hoover. He passed it, so if all three starters go long into games, I'd expect to see him on Wednesday.

Wednesday is pretty much a lock. Odds have to be less than 15% that Hogs sweep or Tigers don't take another in Cowvegas.

I think we pitch Poche in the first game.

All they need is 1 more win or an Arkansas loss to secure a Top 4 Seed. I think you have to throw Lange that first game.

Eta : With a bye, it takes 4 wins to win the Tourney, max 5 if you drop one before Semis. Lange, Poche, Walker, Hess (if available)

If it is setup where we will see Kentucky in the tournement on Thursday, I think we will see Lange on that day. They could be very well playing for a national seed. Since Peterson did well mid week last week, more than likely it will be him Wed.

I'm throwing Peterson on Wednesday, then Lange/Poche/Walker if necc.

Save Gilbert for championship if we get there

got to go Lange or Poche on Wednesday

whether he wins or loses will determine if you throw Walker or the other the next game

you want your top two pitchers to pitch, but don't overtax them.

If we use Peterson and win then we're shaping up very well. Walker would be the pitcher in championship game if LSU wins out.
