I hadn’t seen Herm Edwards name yet. I think he’s done amazing at ASU. But he’s 67.

I like his work ethic and focus on detail. They talk about his deep Ohio roots, but I think the lure of the SEC and big money can influence that decision. Best I can tell is that his buyout is $3.5 MM; seems doable for a long-term coach solution. Not concerned about one day the Ohio State job coming open, Ryan Day should be there for a while and it is a good thing to have a coach that is highly desired by other big time programs.
