Viable options:
Nola (although he is a pretty damn good leadoff hitter)
Jacoby (much better approach at the plate since he changed his stance)
Snikeris (can knock the cover off the ball, but undisciplined at the plate)
Moore (young and K's alot, but can still hit pretty well)
Hanover (good plate discipline, works the count, but not a great hitter)

I go
1 Nola
2 Jones
3 Katz
4 Rhymes
5 Snikeris
6 Ross
7 Moore
8 Fields/Foster
9 Hanover

(I'm really glad we can have these kind of baseball discussions this year)

Hanover has been hitting the ball well, but a part of me likes his bat down in the order to give some production there.

Just skip the 2 hole and get straight to Katz and Rhymes.

Let's just keep Foster out of this discussion.

Jones looked really bad today. I wouldn't want him in the 2 hole. I'd go Snikeris.

You really shouldn't judge a guy off 1 day. He's been really good at the plate the last month.

I think ideal is Moore. Solid all around hitter and can bunt.

I like Hanover there. He usually works the count pretty good, plus he's short so he has a smaller strike zone

Oh, and he lays down a mean bunt!

We should bat Rhymes 2nd and 4th. When he gets on as the 2nd batter, just use a ghost man on the bases for when he has to bat 4th.

seems to be better towards the bottom of the order. I'd rather see snikeris get a shot.

I know it's probably not an option, but the ideal 2 hole hitter on this team is Rhymes. Best contact hitter on the team.
