The national/regional media..ie SEC Media Days..

or

Our own LSU fanbase on this board.

It's tough to call...

When o starts winning the games he should win, and some of the games that perhaps he shouldn't win, he'll start getting getting a little more respect from both the national/regional media, and the LSU fanbase on this board.

In my opinion.

Until he does these things, he'll get exactly what he's getting now. And if he doesn't like it, he can kick rocks.

You just opened up a thread inviting more of the disrespect that you're bitching about. That's an interesting strategy.

I'm curious as to what exactly you're expecting out of this thread.

Lol. Respect is earned. Well earned.

When you go 10-25 as an actual HC and get the keys to LSU and make the same mistakes you did at the previous place?

Like promising Kiffin and a USC type offense (at both OM and LSU) whiffing both times.

Then hiring an OC that had never run the USC at both places.

Then firing at both places after 1 year.

Then again at both places hire an OC that had never run the USC offense before.

But it’s ok he still power drinks Red Bull and traipses around the office banging a drum and cracking Red Bull over his dome. So we got that going for us.

I hope we go undefeated, win the SEC title and National Championship.

But to suggest O is “disrespected” ignores his actual record and failure to learn from past mistakes.

It's not 'bitching', it's reality.

The only unanimous thought here, and nationally, is O was a bad hire and how soon can LSU correct that, assuming of course he struggles this year.

Who cares. Orgeron has literally done nothing to earn any more respect than he’s getting.

Respect will come with wins and championships.

Until then he is just the worst coach in Ole Miss history who nobody would have ever hired but for Joe Alleva.

You don’t have to like it but it’s true.

Who gives a shite who respects O or not.

Win the games he should and few he shouldn’t and people will respect him.

The end.

Orgeron disrespects himself with a lot of his decision making.

Respect is earned son.

O hasn't earned any respect as a HC.

If anyone in this narrative has been disrespected, it's the LSU fans. They've been force fed shite and repeatedly told to accept it.

I'm no O sycophant, but I do recognize that he is our coach for at least this year and all the whining in the world won't change that so I wish him success for LSU's sake. But your post is bull and you know it. Were we supposed to beat UF last year? After Troy nobody, including me, gave us a chance. Were we supposed to beat Auburn. Not on your life. They were the West champs and their only conference loss was to who? In 2016, a Coach O led team won some games no one thought we'd win. Some of you will never get off Coach O's back non matter what positives he accomplishes.

They finished 4-7. I certainly hope we were supposed to win that one.

I'm not necessarily doubting you here, but Im drawing a blank. Which games are you referencing?

Well, Florida was favored at the time.

I'm going to go ahead and doubt him. Wins were over Missouri, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Southern Miss, and Louisville. I'm 99.9% sure we were favored in all of those games and heavily favored in most of them.

I was impressed with the manner in which we beat these inferior teams, though. It was nice to see a team keep their foot on the gas and put teams away.
