Everyone complains about the Miss St loss...like we lost to a weak team.... Alabama barely eaked out a win against this same team...it took a late td in the 4th to win the game
howd they do vs Auburn and Georgia? LSU beat auburn, state lost to auburn by 39

TROY TROY TROY - Has everyone forgot 08, losing to a weak Troy team (6-4) 31-3 in the 3rd Quarter needing a miracle comeback.

Orgeron took over a team with no NFL prospects

It's almost as if he took over a team of 3 stars with not one player drafted or invited to the combined. People are acting like he took over Troy or something.

yeah? it's a good thing Orgeron wasn't coaching then, it really would have gotten out of hand.

the game LSU won? What does that have to do with O losing to them. Troy lost to south Alabama at home

The '08 and '17 teams both needed miracle comebacks. I will let you figure out what the difference is between the two.

it took less than one year for Orgeron to equal Miles's nonconference losses.

Etling had a very respectable QB rating sooooo that hypothesis is out the door.
Etling was actually pretty good.

I don't understand the heat Etling takes on this board.

No, he doesn't have a rocket arm, but there's a hell of a lot more to being an effective QB than that.

Yea LSU...as in the players. You really think Les had ANYTHING to do with that comeback? The rest of the coaching staff prolly told him to go over in the corner and suck his thumb so they could handle business.

Don't get it twisted. I think he's done some really nice things this off-season and in cautiously optimistic. But, the excuses for failures so far are ridiculous.

He was serviceable but not flashy. I don't think he had that "it" factor and didn't possess the ability to pick the team up and single-handedly carry them to victory.

very, very few QBs have that ability.

I don't think that's a fair standard by which to judge a QB.

He was as good as any QB Bama has had in the last 15 years.

they should have done that with O maybe he wouldn't have meddled to the point of losing the game.

So, you're saying he "let his coaches coach" and didn't interfere and they won? Interesting.

Haha ... sorry, couldn't resist that one.

yet another broken promise that could've led to a win.
