Seriously. Jumbo will never change his offense, and it’s not an offense that can compete in modern CFB. Plus the A&M buyout. No thanks.

Bill O'Brien was 8-4, 9-5 in his 2 years at a power 5 school. We had that in both Miles and O.

Napier has never coached a power 5 school. Even Orgeron had done that before. Thanks, but no thanks.

Hugh Freeze has baggage. This LSU admin won't go down that road with him.

Living in Houston and having to have dealt with him as the Texans coach this is going to be a hell no.

He is not good!

He helped us win a NC in '03.

LSU won another championship in '07, mainly due to the offense he created before he left at the end of '06.

He won his own NC at FSU.

He currently has A&M higher ranked than LSU. Plus they ended the year at #4 in the nation.

So a guy with two NC rings, and deserves credit for a 3rd is no good.

Plus, he's 14 years younger than Saban.

He has no A&M buyout.

Wonder why Woodward did that?

Unless the extension changed this detail, there is no buyout if Jimbo were to leave A&M for another job. There's only a massive buyout the school must pay if it fired him without cause.
