The AD who supposedly was the main opposition last time is gone, isn't he?
Well, Brandon supposedly isn't the only one who wasn't enamored of him. There's apparently this whole Lloyd Carr faction up there that doesn't want him either. I guess it will all depend upon who the next AD up there is. Could be a power struggle.
My guess woul be they throw the bank at Harbaugh...at least make him say no. After that, it's anybody's guess.

Miles was 28-21 and 3-10 against ranked teams before coming here.
Oklahoma State had one winning season in the 11 years before Les took over the program.
28-21 with three wins over ranked teams coming from the pile of shite he took over is fricking amazing.
You know shite about football if you don't respect the job Les did at Oklahoma State.

Not to mention, we would probably lose Frank Wilson if Miles left.
We may lose him even if Les stays. Frank is interviewing for the Troy job.

No. I think we could definitely find someone better than Miles I just doubt he gets the boot. I was wondering who the specific candidates could be

Word is, he's not well-liked in Ann Arbor by a lot of the folks that have a say in this stuff.
Les will retire in BR. Like it or not.
This.

and this is why I call all these people whining, moaning, and bitching about Les and the program morons.
They are only cutting the throat of the program that they are a "fan" of.
Fans my arse....they are a cancer to this program

Rich Rodriguez would bolt out of Arizona for LSU if offered. He would be a great hire. With the skill players that he would have at his disposal I really think LSU would be a Ferrari again. He is a great recruiter and has connections in Louisiana from his days at Tulane. Hire a great DC...hell, keep Chief...and RR's offense...watch out.
Plus we won't see any goofball in game F ups like not knowing how to manage a clock or get a play off.

After the 15 season the real no shite number to the university will be 8-9 mil and trust me LSU can swallow that. That amount is usually paid out over 4 to 5 years so its not as daunting as it looks.

10 years is a good run for anyone. Why wait another year or two for the train to really derail before making a change? Then it'll be another 2 years before everything's in place good for the new guy. At least with a new guy there's hope that he can beat Saban. Les is pretty much hopeless and not willing to make any changes to the offense.

LSU does not recruit itself. Even if we get a good coach, it will set us back.
And further set Alabama up, IMO.

If Miles really is 'tied to the hip' with Cam Cameron, as many insiders suggest, then It sure wouldn't bother me to see a change at the top. Really anything it takes to get Cam out of here I am in favor of. If that means getting rid of Miles, then so be it.
