Nah. Lambert would not be able to play in today’s football.

Was too violent. He’d be thrown out of every game by the second series.

Literally, the only thing they have in common is that they are both white linebackers.

Everything about the way Weeks plays is different from Lambert.

I see it, but that's a high bar to be setting just yet.

Casanova was not a linebacker but Weeks plays with the same type of passion as Tommy did.

He is our Luke Kueckly.

Weeks is only a soph, he will play NFL ball and start somewhere no doubt in my mind.

Can’t teach that instinct, drive and Leadership..
That’s the 3 things Perkins didn’t have and the team sees Weeks get after it every single game and it inspires them to play better because of him.

Don’t like anyone getting hurt but we are better off currently.

Got a problem with honkeys? Would you have a problem if we compared Devin white to Jack Lambert?

Look at Clay Matthews highlights from USC. Roughly the same size then and plays fierce with a high motor.

And I’m not talking Matthews from his time w the packers, you can’t compare a sophomore LB with an NFL HOFer

Clay was 6’2 250 so not quite yet.

Maybe another 20-30 Lbs but same height and can put on that size for sure.

He certainly has the want

Not sure that’s true. Perkins didn’t have a reputations as being lazy or not driven. You nor anyone here know anything about his leadership ability

And one thing he did have was instinct. It showed his freshman year. But since then he really hasn’t had a position and trying to play a spot he wasn’t fit for, hampered his instinctual play

I’m just reading body language from him and others.
But your right maybe he wasn’t lazy but he surely doesn’t get after it like Whit.
