think most people would rather play someone different just because playing different teams is more exciting than playing a team you play every year regardless.

This. Now that it's on, no one in Tiger nation has any qualms about thumping the Gumps again; this time it won't be as close.

I talked with several Bama fans at the SECCG. They honestly don't think that they lost the first game and I mean that quite literally. They've rationalized the excuses as to why they lost for so long that they now actually believe they won (since they clearly outplayed us). Mass delusion is an awesome thing to witness.

I'm all for a rematch as long as it is best 2 out of 3 and the third game is in Baton Rouge.

If it was really done fairly, we would play them in Baton Rouge, at night, and only give them 7,000 tickets, just like they gave us.

If we win, then it's over. If they win, then game 3 is played in a neutral location for all the marbles with both schools getting the exact same amount of tickets to sell.

Gumps honestly think they totally outplayed LSU in the first games but we got all the breaks. The second game will just bring order back to there universe with them being declared champions. I hate to tell them but the risk of losing three times in a row is a lot greater then they think.

This LSU team is one of those special teams that come along about every 20 years.

But Bama fans think that makes LSU fans scared for some reason.

No use in going to all the excuses and reasons they use it all came down to them reading the Tiger message boards, media and fans that we already know the outcome of the NC game.
I'd agree 100% and given that, with Alabama inevitably finishing out at 11-2, it does NOTHING to help LSU or the SEC.

Who cares what a Gump thinks. You can tell they have a bunch of retards down there by just listening to F-Baum on Sirius Radio.

Look at it this way eventhough most people felt bad abt what happened to Ok St. Bama is generally considered 2nd best team so to validate the Tigers
as 1 of greatest of all time they have 2 kick some gump arse again. GEAUX

What the BCS should have done before the game was tell OKY ST that they are scrapping the formula and having Bama play LSU. So don't waste your time trying to beat OKlahoma. No matter what you do you aren't going to be 2nd. Thats what was decided before Saturday no matter what.

because Saban and Smart won't make the same mistakes as last game.

Those are the same exact words every Bama fan was using heading into the LAST game. LSU has beaten them twice in a row now..and last year Bama had a better team. Saban and Smart can make zero mistakes and it won't matter because LSU has the better team on the field.

Tell them Bama idiots that Saban shitted on himself the first game @ home. Long field goal attempts, injured WR trying to throw a pass, same WR trying to return punts, etc. Just think what will happen when he coaches in the ship. Geez Garrett Gilbert almost rallied the Horns to victory. Saban is so-so in big games.

If the shoe was on the other foot they would not want to play a team they already beat.

...it also sucks having to share the SEC spotlight with them (win or lose). Florida enjoyed it alone...Alabama...Auburn...it's our turn to represent and be in the spotlight. Instead, Bama gets a mulligan and we have to beat them for the 3rd X in 14 months to get an iota of the respect they are already getting...

I've wanted Bama the entire time. I couldn't think of a better end to a historic season.

Beating Bama twice also ends the discussion forever.

Bama fans are beyond delusional, primarily b/c they've never ventured outside the state. It hasn't even occurred to them that maybe LSU didn't play their best game either.

People from rural areas or small towns tend to have a closed view of the world - regardless of the topic. Obviously this isn't true for everybody or that people from cities are immune to this, but on the whole...

I've never taken as much abuse for a win as I have for the one Nov 5.....these gumps are outrageous. Heard today....we had more scoring opportunities (which we shut down) we got a bad call (unexpected in Tuscaloosa no doubt)...ya'll were lucky (to have better players)...and so it goes here in L.A.
