If Mett were to go down for a game, who is the backup? We'll prob know more when fall practice starts.

Rivers or Randall.

Shep could be there but I have no idea how many reps he's actually gotten at QB.

My guess would be Rivers.

Not established yet but I'd assume Rivers.
To preserve the offensive game plan.

I think a lot of people want rivers to be the #2, but I've heard miles talk about Randall more. Not saying he has, just what I've noticed. I'd like to see what rivers has bc of his height and his name but I'm not discounting Randall just yet.

Rivers is listed as second on the depth chart per Rival. :inbeforerivalssux:

Rivers is Also listed at 6'7"... Just seems crazy to me...

Rivers is definitely 6'7". When you stand next to him it is quite astounding.

I suspect that both Rivers and Randall will both get some game time in mop up duty. Which ever performs better will end up the back-up.

Both are good QB's and can handle the team.

I would guess Rivers is 2nd on the depth chart, however Randall may actually get playing time in meaningful games.

I would hope that is why they have a scholarship, but if Mett does fall I see Miles tightening back up and keeping the ball on the ground. Much more so than last year. This will keep either one from truly managing the team.

Whoever came in after Mett would be way more talented than the QB we had playing on 1/9/12?

Rivers without question.

In the spring game, Randall didn't play until very late and had to run to the sideline before every play to get the play call. Just seeing that tells me he's never going to be a factor here.
