Rivers is likely 3rd string. And who gives a flying frick if he's 6'7" or 6'0" as long as he's good.

I will back who ever the back up is, but
this Rivers can play. Still we never know about Les. We will just have to wait an see.

Rivers AND Randall
This would be my guess! A running threat QB has a much easier time playing early bc a good portion of his plays will be designed runs which does not require deciphering complex defenses.

Randall showed me more in the spring game, I wouldn't be surprised if he is our back up

Whoever came in after Mett would be way more talented than the QB we had playing on 1/9/12?
Not true but ok.

Probably Rivers, but a definite drop off regardless of who it is. Rivers is tall, but doesn't look like he has put the time in the weight room. Neither are close to Mett in arm strength. Randle's mobility & speed could be a nice change of pace for the multiple option sets. Lets hope Mett stays healthy.

Randall didn't play until very late and had to run to the sideline before every play to get the play call. Just seeing that tells me he's never going to be a factor here.
Yea...I wouldn't go that far, he will be a factor while he's at LSU book it. Kid has skills.

Rivers is #2 and made very good progress last few months, this should become clear in fall practice...

Some guy's on here don't like Rivers & hadn't seen him play. I have & he will be a player but has to have time to develope but with Les u never know.

No doubt about it. He actually looked pretty good in the little playing time he got. Every third ball Rivers throws is a duck
