But it is okay to post MLK and segregationist propaganda to erase YOUR heritage? I'm not saying its okay to antagonize people but political correctness and racism only works ONE way and YOU know which way it is. I had distant relatives that marched and died under that flag fighting for what they felt was right at the time. You are saying I should ignore my heritage and change history? THAT IS what's wrong with this country now. We are denied OUR RIGHT to display what is fact and pansy arse around to every other element.

That's my boys, Krewe of Commotion, none of y'all must tailgate on the old front nine. Same flags sans Trump flag.

I've lived in the south my entire life, and I'm as anti-politically correct as it gets, but it's long past time for that flag to be put on the shelf.
I respect your desire to honor your heritage and don't want to take that away, but that flag is an extremely negative symbol to a lot of people. Time to put it away. It just is.

Regardless of how anybody feels about it personally, at no time should anyone be able to tell anyone what they can or can't fly.

There are people in Bavaria right now who had fathers and grandfathers who fought under a different flag much more recently than your "distant relatives"... not many people around those parts still flying that flag in the name of "heritage" nowadays.
Also, if it really is about "history" and "heritage," why don't people fly the historically accurate confederate flag?

Yep, freedom of speech.
Just don't expect to fly it as part of any government-funded display. Don't fly t in my name, and try to understand when others exercise their right to tell you that you're stupid.

Being pretty cavalier with that word in this context.

Sure he can fly whatever he wants. It's a free country.
But he posted a picture of the flag on a message board, and that opens the door to comment and criticism.
