We have so much more talent than Troy. Their players out played our players. They owned the line of scrimmage. That's not all on the coach.

I agree, but we shouldn't be in this position. So Alleva 100%

Three of the 4 losses were due to coaching (ND and Troy and yes MSU)

MSU we were straight up raped on both sides of the ball

We looked ill prepared in every aspect

Yep since "getting hammered by 30" has nothing to do with coaching.

So the players weren't motivated and focused to play Troy...

So yes the coaches share a major role in that

How is this not a failure in coaching?

All of them.
Troy-a well coached team doesn’t lose to an inferior program
MSU-a well coached team doesn’t get their asses handed to them by a mediocre program. If LSU had “lost” to MSU, maybe you say they were the better team that night but getting destroyed in every phase of the game in an embarrassing way is all on the coach(es)-ultimately the HC
Bama-lack if QB development cost LSU that game; that’s a coaching issue
ND-team looked, & played, uninspired & unprepared. HC basically says the OC, HE picked, won’t be at LSU after the bowl game. Distractions & not being prepared is all in the HC. Add on the bone head chicken shite call to not go for it on the 2 inch line & the bright flashing neon arrow points directly at the HC

On another note...Which of the 4 losses do you blame on the incompetent AD who hired the coach?
Again, ALL of them

Two things decide the outcome of a game... Players and coaches.

We have better players than MSU, Troy, and ND. So all of those losses are on our coaches.

Once again poor special teams falls on coaching. O chose not to hire a special teams coach. I said this was a shitty decision before the season started and got laughed at by some.

MSU: Yes. Team wasn’t mentally prepared.
Troy: Yes. Team wasn’t prepared.
Alabama: No. played well enough to win. Missed on deep passes.
ND: Yes & No.

All of them except Bama

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a less prepared team than I saw against Mississippi State
