That was 88. 4 losses. We weren’t even top 10 actually. We had running backs playing receiver.

We tied Ohio State, which was painful
I was at that game, in the student section. LSU was driving our direction, I believe already in game-winning FG range, and Hodson threw that interception. Broke my fricking heart.

Remember, when you try to compare it to more recent games- this was long before Saban elevated LSU to national title contenders. We were the traditional "8-3 is a good year" team.
