In an unprecedented call, Joe Burrow will be flagged for targeting while diving into the endzone. Controversy will ensue, and SEC commissioner Greg Sankey will hide under his desk when asked for comment

Burrow will throw a block and they'll call targeting

Delpit risks it the most with his style of play. If I had to guess, he’d be the most likely.

There seems to be far less targeting overall this year though, which either means they are fixing how they are calling it or—more likely—that players and coaches are adjusting.

That said, you started this to complain about Bama favoritism and bias, and I’ve now digressed from that goal.

My apologies; please continue.

Stingley is the one they will want to target.

Our own compliance dept will probably step up their piss tests also.

Delpit or Chaisson. First defensive series of the 2nd half.

None. Burrow will be temporarily suspended while the SEC reviews his online studies. Just to make sure they are compliant.

Delpit saved a TD knocking the Sh$t out of one of FLA's players, so dont garbage up the Delpit doesn't tackle crap.

Seriously, if Auburn were to intercept, the coaches should advise Burrow not to try and make the tackle unless he absolutely has to in order to save a touchdown.

I wish I could say I was joking...but I've seen enough SEC officiating BS to be wary.

If this happened I don’t know what I’d do! Billboards... have to be bigger than that!

I wonder if Delpit’s play has been influenced by the targeting calls from last year?

Maybe we should hold out our best DBs against Allbarn so they don't get a BS targeting call... we won't need them against AU anyway.

Chaisson will get 2 "low" hits on the QBs hip and be ejected.

Let’s call it what it is..Delpit has missed a lot more plays than he’s made this year. And I get it, teams don’t throw at him or run at him but when the opportunity has presented itself, he hasn’t been that great (not for what we know he is capable of). He was a sure tackler last year. Not so much this year.
