I do and here is why. Because the summer of 10,000 catches will accelerate their development tremendously the same way it did for Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Terrace Marshall in 2019.

Not to mention that Deion Smith, who was hurt for most of the spring, looked really good in the spring game and Ed O also said on OTB that he was outstanding during his very little practice time. He also said he excelled at catching the football in traffic.

Jack Bech caught 91 passes in his junior season for 1668 yards in 13 games played and 59 passes for 1159 yards in only 9 games played in his senior season. That dude is more than ready to step right into a starting role in college.

Jack Bech actually reminds me of a bigger and whiter Jamar Chase. While Deion Smith reminds me of a taller Justin Jefferson.

So let's assume you are right, tell me why this won't be true with Moore, who has never seen this either or even why it wont sharpen Palmer, Kirklin, and Jenkins?

All these guys have stepped onto the field in college before and that will probably give them an advantage,

I have always been a Palmer fan, since the day I watched him dominate in a high school state championship game for Kentwood in his senior year. I'm pulling for him to have a breakout year.

LSU does have a wealth of talent in their receiving corps. Just want them to have a great year.

Which freshman, last season, on your list, made you appear erroneous in your statement?

The three not named Boutte, could easily be passed up by a freshman by mid season, unless they begin to play up to their recruiting hype.
I've always been a Palmer fan, but so far he has disappointed.
If any of the freshmen has great hands, and can catch the ball consistently going across the middle, he will be a starter.

That's a hell of a freshman WR haul we have coming in.

Not sure what either one of these have done to make you feel like they can’t get beat out

They’ve all struggled catching the ball

Where or when did I say it wouldn't benefit them as well? I didn't say it because obviously it will. Indeed it will make LSU's receiver corp better as a whole. Nonetheless, I believe several of the young recruits though are better football players than some of those veterans.

If there is an advantage, it will be early in the season.

I've always been a Palmer fan as well, but it's his junior season and if he doesn't produce, he is going to get pushed aside.

Jack bech is going to be the split out tight end.

Hilton is my guess at wide out.

Brian Thomas should also get some playing time.

All 5 players are going to be good. Nabers is a beast catching the ball.

Some guys just aren't athletic enough to get their body in position to highpoint the ball. The veteran receivers, prior to Marshall, Jefferson, and Chase were in that category. They made it appear easy and made the contested catches.
Boutte fits the mold. If some are all of the freshmen have that athleticism, they will move up the depth chart and pass up some veterans.

Gonna be a big year for those 3, Bech, and maybe Nabers. I think Kirklin, Jenkins, and Palmer are getting very few reps by the time we hit conference play. If Palmer doesn't show some consistency he won't even be returning kicks.

It's possible that at least some of those kids have gotten better.

They struggled in 2020, but that's because there wasn't enough time to implement the summer of 10,000 catches because of the Covid Pandemic. As everything suffered to a degree because of it.

In 2021, the pass catching of the receivers should be very significantly improved relative to 2020 because the summer of 10,000 catches is currently underway.
