I was in my own living room. I remember it being a very warm night for January.

Remember walking to the dome by myself and observing all the sights and sounds. It all seemed surreal, then stopping and listening to Hokie Gajan and Buddy D doing a live radio broadcast. Once in the dome and in my seat and the tiger band marched out it was hard to hold it together after waiting so many years for a chance at a championship. Good Stuff

I was stationed at Pope AFB in NC and watched the game off base with a group of friends.
My then girlfriend, now wife, was at the game with a sorority sister. They both made it on TV at the end of the game because of a sign they held up. It said "Hey Mauck, Let's make a 'lil Tiger!" We all went nuts when we saw the sign!
Proud boyfriend moment...

23 year old hungover as shite from the night before.
I ended up heading to the dome sober that night and I left the dome as high on life as I think I’ve ever been.

I was 13 and in 8th grade. I watched the game at home with my family. This was the night I decided I was going to be a Tiger. 4 years later I applied to my dream school and got accepted. The rest is history, FOREVER LSU!

I was fixing to turn 40 and had never seen an LSU football championship. Sitting on my couch I shed a tear or two and then thought to myself the next six months "I can't believe my LSU Tigers are National Champions".

In the Dome..loved the outcome. Got back to our hotel room full of people, NO food. No restaurants open. Went down to lobby for vending machine when Domino's guy came in with 2 pizzas for somebody. Tipped the guy $20....best pizza I ever ate.

I was also in the dome that night with my dad as a 13 year old. Incredible memory that I’ll never forget!
My dad and his best friend hugged each other and cried tears of joy after bc they both thought they’d never see LSU win a natty.
