A chest thumping thread after a 30 point loss.

Love the confidence!

Yes. These “call out” threads, whether they be after a loss or a win from “O haters” or “Cheerios”, are the very definition of childlike.

Who hates 0? I do not. Just think hiring him was a big mistake. If they go 10-2 it will be hard to say the year was a failure of course. But how much has he closed the yawning gap between LSU and the gumps?

It has widened. That is the only yardstick imho.

What did you expect?

O’s made two mistakes with OC hires. His other coaching hires are suspect. The offense is in the crapper.
We still have massive holes in our recruiting board and no guarantee that we will land elite players to fill them.
Last night demonstrated the talent and coaching gap. That’s pretty sobering. Orgeron is completing 2 and a half years and we look the same as when he assumed command. He owns it.
7-2 is nice and he deserves credit but the future doesn’t really look any brighter.

However, last night was not good at all.

The worst loss to the gumps in a long time. This is Ensminger's second time getting shut out by the gumps when he was OC. This one was MUCH worse. His hiring is a massive fail and is 100.00% 0's doing.

0 got rid of Canada and installed his man. Fine. The offense has been hot garbage all year long and, just as in under Miles, is getting WORSE as the season progresses.

I had a wonderful day today (other than having to do some work), not sure about you. I'm about to go out to a nice dinner with my wife, and I'm taking my daughter to Paris for a few days later this week.

I'm at peace with where LSU is, and I'm not overly emotionally invested in the program such that it affects my life that much. I didn't say much after the Florida loss, because, for a loss, it wasn't horrible. Last night was par for the course in many ways. It was a pathetic offensive performance, but that's where we are right now. Our program is listless right now, and I don't know what it's plans are. It obvious that O and E are not the answer to get us over the hump. I suspect maybe the powers that be are trying to wait out Saban, but there's no guarantee that that strategy will work, when other programs seem to be taking active steps to position themselves for taking the reins once he's gone.

I just hope we finish strong and win an exciting bowl game.

So you admit there is nothing that could make you not hate the team? Nothing could ever change your mind? Glad to see you finally be honest.

Yep. My stance on O and the O Experiment has never changed. Well have some solid to good teams here in his first several years IMHO. This year is shaping up to still be a good year and I’m still cheering like hell for a strong finish and good bowl showing. But we aren’t getting over the hump with him at the helm. I think that will gradually cause a drop in recruiting which I think we’re already seeing TBH. Where things will really get dicey, however, is when Aranda leaves. I don’t see us ever being truly BAD any time soon though. We have too big of a brand and too many built in advantages to not be decent

waiting out saban is pure idiocy at its finest

he said he will see if he will retire once he hits 75! He is only 67! that is 8 more years. LSU desperately needs a long term solution to be put in place now.

Yeah it's almost like people's opinion of him is directly related to his success on the field. Weird.
