Assuming Luis doesn’t get rostered, he said that he’ll evaluate during practices and how they approach their duties both on and off the court in a professional manner. He’s also looking at chemistry.
I see the guards will be Clark and Dent because they are familiar and comfortable with each other. They seem to work together very well.
As far as the rest, I assume it could come down to matchups. Wade values defense, so I think Dioubate will be at one forward spot. If he goes with 3 guard for some reason, I have a feeling that he’ll go with Bashir.
He’s said that Niang is basically a work in progress, but I think he gets the start at the other forward position based on what the roster looks like, unless he thinks one of the centers, like Ruzic or Levy can guard and move away from the basket.
Otherwise, either Ruzic or Dessert gets the nod at center

Apparently from the questions he was asked the two continuous spots are the 2guard and Center spots. I like Clark but Bashir is probably better for what we need. Wade sounds like he’s going with Clark without question though. The Center spot he said he started Dessert because of the matchup with Ponder but talked up Ruzic a lot so that position seems like it’s still in question.

That’s what I got out of it too. I think a lot hinges on Niang, how quickly he can get up to speed and grasp the college game and gel with the team.

I don't think that is true. They are LSU fans, but not necessarily LSU basketball fans, or fans of basketball in general. But for reasons unknown they hate that Wade has a loyal LSU fanbase. So when Wade fans flood the board with hyperbolic praise, they feel the need to meet it with and equal and opposite reaction simply out of a desire to go against the crowd.

There absolutely is a small but very outspoken segment of baseball fans that support LSU baseball only that really don't like any other sports at LSU and take shots at them.
And others who just don't like basketball and for some reason are miffed that a basketball coach is so popular and well-liked.

Sup Mk!
I’ve always been a fan of a solid scorer off the bench so I like Clark first off bench. Niang and ruzic need breaks but should get more time than mo and dessert IMO. Also selfishly want ruzic dessert getting simultaneous time. It will be interesting to see eventually rotation. I like the depth with 4 guards and bender helping out niang and mo. We had 1.3 guards last year lol
Dent
Bashir
Niang
Mo
Ruzic
Clark for bashir
Dessert for mo
Divine for dent

Niang just needs to be more aggressive. Passed up 2-3 easy buckets and kicked it out for a 3 instead. He’s not someone you run plays for he has to take those opportunities. Defensively he was fine, Clark and Diou kept getting lost and giving up back door layups.

I agree I’d only switch Clark to the backup 1 and Divine as the 2. Clark is a better passer/playmaker, Divine looks more comfortable cutting and slashing.

I see niang lifting off from free throw line before the end of season.

I agree divine is a lane driver defender type. Not a Thomas at all.

He’s very long, I could see him even playing some 4 in certain instances.

He can really finish. Very good athlete

He has a superpower: gathering talent.

Fear becomes hatred. Hatred becomes bias.

I havent seen Wade Haters on here. A lot of these guys are just making this up for some reason.

No one hates Wade. It’s pretty easy to see that things are said for the reaction.
