Still waiting for Miles to send in the numbers. The QBs combined for 639 yards, went 25/28 with 8 TDs. Running backs gained a couple hundred yards with 4 TDs. Defense looked unstoppable with 5 sacks and 3 INTs.

The headlines for the first fall scrimmage last year were “defense dominates” lol. Nothing to take away from scrimmage stats... will be better to hear what the players say or if anyone posts a few highlights.

I honestly would not release any information about the scrimmages. With a brand new roster let’s just shock everyone good or bad lol

It would make sense that the scrimmage was largely around the defense. I’m sure the defensive staff has the most to work on to be SEC ready so they would heavily lean towards to making them better. At least that is what I would do...

Based on what I read on 247, the defense is faster than last year and the offense can do MOST of what it could last year. Also Brennen is expected to be a upper 60% passer like the 65-70% range, they think he is that good. Also Jabril Cox is the best player on defense.

Better than Stingley I don't believe. But if true and our DL interior can handle the manpower shortages, then we will be just fine.

Think about it. Starters are Ika and Logan (solid) with the 2 freshmen Roy and Guillory backing them (throw to the fire but those are some talented men!) then beef for third string we will be fine if no injuries. To think Shelvin was good for more than 10-15 plays at 370 pounds was foolish. He will not be missed at that weight, but around 340 missed very badly. For DE, we have a lot there with Anthony, Moore and lets throw BJ and Webb (solid 4).

LB- We will be fine- Cox (some saying best player on Def), Clark and Baskerville starting with Thornton and Freshmen Sampah, White etc. backing them up should be solid as well. A few growing pains but who won't have those.

CB are solid (Stingley- The best on Def. player in the COUNTRY!!) and Flott, Ward, Jones or Ricks on the other side just depth to worry. Stevens, Harris, and Hampton got it on lock down at Safety positions, and Toles and Co. will provide OK backups

Ricks-Anthony-Ika-Logan-Moore-Stingley

Cox-Clark-Baskerville

Hampton-Stevens

Les and his scrimmage stats.

Dude had us hyped for both offense and defense after each scrimmage.
