??????. I would say thats completely false and im white. I have worked construction for 20 plus yrs seen 1 black man in a supervision role.On the other hand I have seen many white guys with 0 skill are craft get supervision and even top craft pay on every job especially if he's a got a cousin are brother in law . On the flip side I've seen women are blacks get jobs because the company had to hire minoritys. Which I thinks not fair either . But I'm not stupid enuff to believe that they woulda got hired if not for the company policy requiring them to hire minoritys. So yes a black man has the same opportunity for employment as the white guys,but he's got to be certified and a good worker . The white guy needs no certification and has a opportunity to move up in most cases way faster with little to no certifications. So my point is why should any races have to work twice as hard as another race to accomplish the same results . Its like taking a middle class white kid comparing him to a black kid .
