So none of the 3 football national championship games merit a top
5 ranking.
Surely, importance of the games counts so any game with a national title on the line has to be considered.
If you are just go with fan enjoyment factor I always start with games that Warren Morris (Miami) and Jacob Heater (Florida) will be remember for.

If we don’t win it all, (and perhaps even if we do), this game will merit at best a footnote in the historical record. It was super exciting, no doubt, but not anything more than another great win for the good guys.

Does anyone remember Todd Walker's game winning hit/RBI against Long Beach State that put us into the finals in 1993? Basically the same thing happened yesterday. Tie game bottom of inning...walk off gaming winning hit.

Well, you can’t really combine sports. For baseball, it was right up there with some of the top.
