I’ll eat some crow. I thought we’d be lucky to be 2-1 after these three games

I admit to being on the fence. Never a big fan of his hire, but have seen this team evolve and take on his gritty nature. What that means for the future remains to be played out, but while it can feel like a cardiac episode at times, and inexplicable, watching these Tigers claw out the hearts of their opponents so far has been fun.

Huge win.

But we were 7-0 and #2 in the country three weeks before Alleva tried to fire Miles the first time.

Gritty win and O deserves props. However, He should go to Aranda’s office every day and service him. The offense is still hard to watch. We barely broke 100 yards rushing..our QB still can’t complete 50% of his passes. Our special teams are great again..which is huge. It still feels like the Miles days where we just pray we can eek out enough pts while the D keeps us in the game.

I'm right here. I hope he proves me wrong. We still have a qb who completes fewer than half his passes and are beset by penalties and poor decisions (a jump pass punt fake?). But my sincere hope is he does well despite his inefficiencies.

I was here all night last night.

I would call myself an O hater because I don't dislike him personally.

But, I didn't support his hiring.

I honestly think some of you guys are less interested in LSU winning than in opposing other fans. Of course I'm glad we won. And, I will be perfectly happy if O proves me wrong as frick going forward.

Well I am not an O hater, but I am feeling unexpectedly confident in this team. I had no clue what to expect against Miami, but felt good about the outcome. I was happy about game 2, but I let the rant create doubt. I was really not expecting a win last night until half time. I have a growing confidence in Burrow and the offense that is remeniscent of times gone by. LSU has as good a chance to win them all this year as they have had in a decade.

I didn’t support the O hire at all and am still on the fence. Auburn is his first win against a solid defense but he still has losses to Bama (2), Notre Dame, Miss St, UF and Troy. I’ll excuse the 2 Bama losses for now but those other losses are unacceptable. That final drive against Auburn was kept alive by 2 PI calls on key 3rd down conversions. Yes, that’s part of football but more disciplined down the stretch won’t give us that luxury. This offense is still hard as hell to watch and doesn’t show much difference than Miles.

My concerns:
1) this is a talented D this year. What happens next year when Fehoko and Lawrence are gone? Who replaces them? O still hasn’t signed an elite Dlinemen yet to replace those 2. In a year full of dline talent in LA and Miss, we haven’t pulled 1 elite guy. Sophser May come to LSU but it’s still 50/50. Aranda is only as good as the horses he brings in.
2) how long does Aranda stay? When he leaves, who does O hire? What elite guy has O brought in himself on the coaching staff? Our 2 best coaches were hold overs from Miles, Aranda and Raymond. Jury is still out on the safety coach.

I’m glad we beat Auburn on the road and I give O props but it’s 1 game. I’m not jumping on the O bandwagon based on 1 games results. I’ll have to see Dline recruiting pick up along with the ability to hire great coaches. Les had that 2011 season and it got him a 7 year contract that we are still paying today. O has to do more than beat Auburn on the road to make me feel better about Alleva not signing him a big time contract that puts LSU in another bind.

Just an observation: I sense they are not alums

That’s really not a jab because I don’t subscribe to the idea you have to go to the school. Many of them just strike me as uneducated.
