Where does Marlon Taylor rank among all-time LSU dunkers?

Gotta be at/near the top right?

The only one I remember in my era as exciting was Tyrus, but I feel like Marlon was more impressive for his height.

Its a shame he’ll miss the college dunk contest because we’re in the final four

Funk dunk against Arizona is legendary. Wish we would land his kid.

Dewayne “The Astronaut” Scales. Greatest LSU dunker ever. Guy was 6’9” & moved like he was 6’.

Marlon Taylor is one absolute beast of an athlete. His explosiveness is absolutely off the charts. He jumps and then it seems like he has another gear in midair. It's incredible.

Now, if he was a good basketball player, to go along with it, he would be a #1 pick in the NBA draft. I was hoping he would grow into a better basketball player this season, but he just didn't. He's good enough to play college basketball because he's such an elite athlete, but he's not a great basketball player.

He probably missed his calling in track honestly.

“If he was a good basketball player”

Had 30 points and 7 rebounds today lmao and is one of the best defensive wings in the SEC if not the country.

Because of his athleticism. What I said wasn't meant as a knock on him. It was a compliment.

When it comes to dribbling, driving, passing, shooting (you know.... Basketball stuff) he is average at best.
